You'Re Not Going To Get Rid Of Imposter Syndrome

You're not going to get rid of Imposter Syndrome.

I know that's not what you want to hear. There's no shortage of advice out there about how to "overcome" it or "beat" it or make it go away forever.

But here's the truth. When you work in a field where the most valuable thing is experience, and that field is constantly evolving, you're never going to feel fully caught up. That's just how it goes.

New frameworks. New tools. New patterns. New problems you've never seen before. The ground keeps shifting.

So you feel like it's only a matter of time until someone finds out you don't belong there. Like you somehow slipped through the cracks and everyone else has it figured out.

So what?

That feeling isn't a sign that you're failing. It's a sign that you're in the arena. The people who never feel it are either not paying attention or not pushing themselves.

The key isn't to make it disappear. The key is to keep going anyway.

Show up. Do the work. Ask the questions. Learn the thing you didn't know yesterday.

Imposter Syndrome doesn't disqualify you. It just means you're playing in a space where growth is constant.

Keep going.
